We stopped in here for a bite to eat on our way to Sydney. Staff were welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere was historic and beautiful. I ordered garlic prawns from the menu, but they were ghastly. They had a very powdery texture and weren't hot. The accompanying rice was very under-cooked. Inedible.
Stopped on the way home to Sydney around 8.30om on a Thursday night and even though the kitchen was about to close we were welcomed at the door and shown into the restaurant. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The meal was outstanding! Highly recommend the Central Hotel Glen Innes!
Stayed at this lovely historically quaint hotel. Fantastic Value for money.Its not a shiny brand new place but thats what makes it lovely. The room was clean and tidy and the veranda was a great place to relax in the evening. Tony, the owner makes you feel welcome and he is very accomodating. It was nice to have a chat with him and Tony shared a little bit of the town history with us and some fellow travellers.I would definitely stay again and would recommend it to others.
Lovely old hotel in the middle of town. Quiet, clean and comfortable, with friendly helpful staff. Good prices for accommodation as well. Recommended.
The owner came out to greet me and helped with my luggage. The bar staff were very friendly. The food wasn't the cheapest, but the quality of my meal was great. Accommodation and amenities are basic but clean. You are staying at a pub, not a resort. I'll be back next time I pass through
