Very clean and comfortable with friendly owners and a simple breakfast.

Very friendly managers and staff. The heaters were already switched on before our arrival so rooms were warm and comfortable upon arrival. Very comfortable bed and electric blanket. Very clean rooms and bathroom. No road noise. As a motorcycle club we visit Glenn Innes a lot and the Clansman is the best one we have stayed at and it has undercover parking for our bikes. A1 service and 10 out of 10.
First and foremost, the staff were fantastic. We were coming through late and they had our room ready, sorted out payment over the phone, air conditioning set to a comfortable temp for our arrival, key waiting in the unlocked room and extra coffee and milk after a long drive! The room was exactly as you can expect from a highway motel, moderate sized, clean and comfortable. The linen however was particularly nice (though it may have just felt that way after a 10 hour drive ). Somehow the room was quiet given the proximity to the highway and our sleep wasn't interrupted at all. In the morning the owners were busy working and stopped to ask how the room was and showed genuine concern for our kids who had been a bit ill leading up to the stay. They were warm and friendly and really made you feel welcome. As this is roughly a half way point on our travels, I can guarantee we will stay again next time.
