A lovely, small caravan park, beautiful shady trees, prolific birdlife, very clean amenities (with the added touch of music playing non-stop while you wash, etc), drive-through parks. Friendly helpful staff.
Lovely park. Drive through sites. Clean and tidy facilities. Great owners and Staff, they are very friendly and helpful and always up for a chat. Will definitely come here again.
Great clean, cheerful, pet-friendly park
Little Oasis: We had booked ahead and on arrival, were able to drive straight to our cabin, where we found the key, WiFi code and (hired) linen waiting for us. How easy was that after a long day on the road?! Our ensuite cabin (although a bit old) was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. It bordered right onto a lovely strip of lush green grass, with huge trees along the edges and this is where we spent the rest of the late afternoon relaxing with a glass of wine. The park is not huge and is pet friendly. Town is an easy drive up the road and although not that far, not really suitable for walking, I feel. Loved the nature feel of this van park in this green bush-like setting. Very peaceful.More
This is the worst place we've ever stayed. We would normally have our caravan, but it was in dock, so we were relying on cabins for a few nights. Called through to book about 10 minutes away and owner insisted that I had to pay up front by credit card. I told him we were 10 minutes away, and that I would pay when we got there. He said i had to pay up front or it wasn't available. I had called other places and he had the only available cabin, so i paid him over the phone.Sure, he was friendly at the office. When we got to the tiny grotty cabin, the linen was in a bag on the floor. I asked when somebody would be in to make the bed, and was told that we had to do it ourselves they charge extra for the linen and it's dyo.Opened the fridge to put in our colds, fridge is on 1 and is hot. The freezer had defrosted into the tray underneath, and leaked all over the floor. Water everywhere went to the office, nobody there, but spoke to me on the intercom. Was sending someone down asap.10 minutes later he sent down a mop and bucket for us to mop the floor told him we wanted a refund cause we'd go somewhere else. Told us to read the sign on the wall in the office which said "choose carefully we do not give refunds". DO NOT GO TO "GLEN REST CARAVAN PARK "DISGUSTING SERVICE AND BEHAVIOUR !!!!!!!
